INTRODUCTION

What are Czech cleaning pellets?

They are pellets of vegetable origin produced from grain residues, which otherwise have no use in the food industry or agriculture. During the pelletization process, a mixture of active substances based on mineral salts is added to them, which are, among other things, used in the production of fertilizers or food preservatives.  The result is an environmentally friendly pellet with a calorific value similar to wood or brown coal, which additionally during combustion releases active substances that act on deposits on the walls of the combustion chamber/fireplace and subsequently the entire flue gas tract, including the chimney, and limits their sticking, which negatively it affects heat transfer, thereby increasing heating costs, is corrosive and is a frequent cause of fires caused by the ignition of tar in chimneys and flues.

VÝHODY

ADVANTAGES

SAVE MONEY:  pellets are  produced in the Czech Republic from local grain residues, which are  unlike wood pelletsprice stable, because they are not subject to market fluctuations, as we last experienced in 2022 after the start of the conflict in Ukraine. The active substances contained in the pellets change their state from solid to gas at temperatures above 400°C and pass through the entire flue gas tract of the boiler / fireplace, from the hearth to the chimney, where they act on the otherwise sticky ash and tar, which becomes brittle and becomes loose . This phenomenon is, among other things, caused by  by the nature of active substances that bind oxygen and help oxidize the unburned carbon contained in ash and tar. Subsequently, the deposits tend to peel off by themselves, or they can be easily swept away.A clean boiler and fireplace have better efficiency and saves your money spent on fuel.

BOILER PROTECTION: the active substances contained in the pellets have a basic Ph, which neutralizes the acidic sulfur compounds arising, among other things, when burning coal, which condenses in flues at temperatures below 130°C and has a strong corrosive effect. Cleaning pellets like thatprotects against low-temperature corrosion. It also acts as fire prevention by igniting tar in chimneys and flues.

ARE EFFECTIVE: in contrast to the soot powder cleanersactive substances are released gradually and there is no risk of losses due to the powder falling through the grate or its liquid phase into the ashtray or flying into the chimney. The pellets have a diameter of 8 mm and are therefore more universally usable both in boilers with an automatic feeder and in fireplaces and stoves, where ordinary 6 mm pellets risk falling through the grate into the ashtray.

THEY ARE ECOLOGICAL:the mixture of active substances used is based on mineral salts, which are, among other things, used in the production of fertilizers or food preservatives. Unlike other cleaning productsdo not contain toxic substances, nor heavy metals.

POUŽITÍ

USE

IN FIREPLACES AND FIREPLACE STOVES

  • In the hearth, light enough wood to form a compact layer a few cm thick covering the entire grate. Try to reach the highest possible temperature.

  • Measure a dose of 150 to 300  g / approx. 225 - 450 ml depending on the size of the firebox and pour it into the center of the burning fuel so that the pellets do not fall outside the burning fuel. You can also wrap the pellets in paper or put them in a paper bag.

  • Let the pellets burn completely and do not open the door during their combustion so that smoke does not escape into the surroundings and the efficiency of the cleaning reaction does not decrease.

  • Repeat the procedure depending on the quality of the fuel being burned (moisture + ashiness) once a month for clean and dry wood, up to once a day for insufficiently dried wood with bark and impurities.

IN BOILERS WITH AUTOMATIC DOSING OF SOLID FUELS WITH A RETOR OR GRATE HEATING

  • Heat the boiler with normal fuel to the maximum operating temperature.

  • Measure a dose of approx. 1 - 2 kg per 20 kW of boiler power / approx. 1,500 - 3,000 ml and pour it into the fuel tank.

  • Burn all the pellets from the hopper continuously, do not change the output during the process, or switch off the boiler.

  • Repeat the procedure depending on the quality of the fuel being burned (moisture + ash content) once a month for clean and dry wood / high-quality coal, up to once a week for insufficiently dried wood with bark and impurities / low-quality coal.

  • Czech cleaning pellets can also be mixed with other plant pellets in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5, thereby preventing their caking.

IN BOILERS WITH MANUAL DOSING OF SOLID FUELS WITH A GRATE HEATER

  • Heat the boiler with normal fuel to the maximum operating temperature.

  • Measure a dose of 300 to 500  g / approx. 450 to 750 ml depending on the size of the firebox and pour it into the center of the burning fuel so that the pellets do not fall outside the burning fuel. You can also wrap the pellets in paper or put them in a paper bag.

  • Let the pellets burn completely and do not open the door during their combustion so that smoke does not escape into the surroundings and the efficiency of the cleaning reaction does not decrease.

  • Repeat the procedure depending on the quality of the fuel being burned (moisture + ash content) once a month for clean and dry wood / high-quality coal, up to once a day for insufficiently dried wood with bark and impurities / low-quality coal.
